Hermione is one of Riverdale‘s great mysteries, isn’t she? Where exactly she stands in the Lodge family hierarchy is actually addressed in this week’s Season 3 premiere, when Veronica asks her point-blank how she could let Hiram get away with framing Archie for murder. But an early warning, “Varchie” fans: You might not like Hermione’s answer.

why wouldnt we like her answer? I'm confused.

Spoilers for episode 3.03 (credit: azalben & jelly-bean-jones)

next week’s #Riverdale calms down slightly and focuses on the characters, while still managing to end with a bananas moment.

Varchie does not break up in the episode

Veronica is very focused on Archie, but they have no scenes together.

No new love interest for Veronica

Reggie/,Veronica is still a possibility because it happens in the comics. But this episode they’re busy with a lot of other, non-romantic things.

There are Bughead scenes and also romantic Bughead.

Choni is back! They are in multiple scenes.

The scene with Falice in bed is as sexy as advertised. And there’s more falice this episode.

There is plenty of Bughead and Choni in this episode. Both ships are a romantic couple, and so thats always there, to some degree. If you’re looking for cute, sweet moments that make ou go*“awww”, Choni is the winner in this one.*

You’ll learn all about the Speakeasy.*

Reggie and Veronica do have a lot of scenes together

Kj Apa once again delivers a crazy good performance and sells it (he has this one scene that blew me AWAY.) It’s just so disconnected from everyone else in this unnecessary way.
